The Weekly Batch
You'd be forgiven to think these vanilla flavoured pastries have links across the pond but they were in fact created by the Product Developer of the beloved Fazer confectionary in 1990s, inspired by their trip to the US, as a sister product to the already popular Texaspulla.
These are my personal favourite - the filling is sure to linger on your taste buds!
These beauties originate from a Tosca cake recipe developed in Sweden back in the 1930s, drawing the inspiration from the Giacomo Puccini opera by the same name. How sophisticated!
And so are the flavours - cinnamon, coconut, almond… a narration of passion fit for its namesake.

For many years these have been the crowd-pleaser and a staple at various events and gatherings from fundraisers to birthday parties - my go-to pastry if there ever was one.
With their signature shape and pearl sugar sprinkled on top for some added texture, these rolls are best served warm with a cold glass of milk or with your afternoon coffee.
